Another month, another chance for Samsung to gloat. According to the sales stats that price comparison website uSwitch has released for the month of January, the top three best-selling smartphones in the UK were all Samsung’s Galaxy offerings.
Once again, we find the Samsung Galaxy S3 topping the list. In case you’ve lost count, this is the flagship phone’s ninth consecutive month at the summit. We think the Galaxy S3 is warming the seat for its successor.
Switching positions from the previous month were the Galaxy S2 and the Galaxy Ace, with the former sliding down to third place in January, and the Ace moving up a notch to grab the second position. It seems there’s no stopping these two Android veterans from finding their ways to the hands of customers.
Rounding out the top five were two of Nokia’s Symbian-based phones, the 100 and C2-01. Meanwhile, the Nexus 4 fell from fourth to sixth place. As for Apple’s iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S, they only made seventh and tenth on the chart.
