U.S. Cellular this morning announced that it would be lowering the prices of its Shared Connect plans in an effort to not only simplify their data tiers, but also to “beat Verizon and AT&T’s data plans.”

The new data tiers now come in 1, 3, 6, 10, 12, 15 and 20GB sizes, and are all being offered at reduced prices. The plans start at just $25 per month and also include the ever popular (and somewhat vague) Device Connection Charge, which will add an additional fee to the monthly bill. The Device Connection Charge depends on which data tier you end up choosing. Attached below is a list of UScellular’s new pricing tiers:

  • 1GB of data – $25 per month, $20 Device Connection Charge
  • 3GB of data – $40 per month, $20 Device Connection Charge
  • 6GB of data – $55 per month, $20 Device Connection Charge
  • 10GB of data – $70 per month, $15 Device Connection Charge
  • 12GB of data – $80 per month, $15 Device Connection Charge
  • 15GB of data – $90 per month, $15 Device Connection Charge
  • 20GB of data – $110 per month, $15 Device Connection Charge

The new plans are now available for both new and current customers. For more information, head to U.S. Cellular’s website to get all the details.
