A non-Samsung Android prototype

Over at PCWorld.com, news is flowing about Samsung’s love for Android. As a fully fledged member of the Open Handset Alliance (OHA), Samsung are undoubtedly due an Android handset sometime this year. Picking an actual date, however, has proved rather tricky.

In a quote given on Friday 23rd January 2009, Samsung confirmed their intentions to expand their line-up of touch screen phones and also improve functionality through the inclusion of various different phone operating systems. Samsung already offer some phones with Windows Mobile, Linux and Symbian, so “In the first half of this year” we may expect to see an Android phone, too!
