The hottest Android handset in town, the Galaxy S3, is about to receive the latest Android version, Jelly Bean, in the near future. We have seen rumors that suggested the device will get Android 4.1.1…

Compared to other regions, Samsung Galaxy S3 owners in the UK are enjoying a relatively swift and pain-free software upgrade to Jelly Bean. Starting with Three, the Android 4.1 update then made its way to O2 and Vodafone subscribers. If you own an unbranded version of the handset, the time to make that jump to the latest and greatest Android OS is here.
The Jelly Bean update has reportedly hit those with an unlocked Galaxy S3 in the country. If you can’t wait for the over-the-air update to arrive, you can manually download the file (781MB in size) and install it on your phone using Kies.
