U.S. Cellular

Thinking about switching your family over to U.S. Cellular? If so, now is certainly the time to do it. As an incentive, U.S. Cellular is running a promotion that gives new subscribers a $300 Mastercard debit card.

So what's involved to qualify? Basically you need to sign a new two-year agreement with the carrier for two or more lines of service, with at least one of these lines belonging to smartphone. Pretty easy other than that. You get your new phones and service, they give you the card.

With some of the cheaper Android devices starting at one cent, you could basically walk away with a free phone and $300. On the other hand, you could pick up their most expensive device, the Note 2, for $349 and basically get $300 back through the gift card. In case you are wondering, any data plan with a price of $20 or higher will be eligible for this special promotion.

Being a smaller carrier, U.S. Cellular might not be for everyone. Still, if you are in their coverage area, you certainly might want to give serious thought to switching to their services now. What do you think of this promotion, tempted or not?
