While we are all anticipating the release of the next device in the Droid lineup from Verizon and Motorola, Wirefly has gone ahead and reviewed the Droid 4 and posted it. By now we all know what specs the Droid 4 has right? Well just in case let’s quickly go over them again.

  • 4″ 540×960 LCD display
  • 5-row slide-out QWERTY keyboard
  • 1.2Ghz dual-core processor
  • 1GB RAM
  • LTE
  • 8GB internal storage (expandable with microSD card)
  • 8MP rear camera w/ 1080p HD video recording
  • 1.3MP front camera
  • 1785mAh battery
  • Android 2.3.5
  • Micro HDMI port
  • Ships with Android 2.3.5

Finding a slide-out QWERTY smartphone is pretty hard these days. Most manufacturers have gone to only having the on-screen keyboard with no physical one. We are hoping we can get our hands on the Droid 4 next week, as the latest leak says February 11th. Check out the video below and leave your comments about the Droid 4. Don’t forget to check out our hands-on with the Droid 4 from CES last month.

I like it. This will be my first android phone if I get this. I’m still debating on wether to get the almighty droid 4 or wait for the upcoming galaxy journal. (and who knows if or when that will be). Any advice?

Can anyone tell me if the Droid 4 is as good as the Razr or Razr Maxx? Is it essentially the same as those previous two models except for the slide out keyboard (with the exception of the Maxx having the slightly larger battery)?
