Paragon Software Group has released its popular PenReader handwriting recognition tool for Android smartphones. If you do not have Swype and hate using an onscreen touch keyboard, this might be of interest to you. This neat little application will allow users to input handwritten text to their mobiles “naturally and easily” without actually requiring an on-screen keyboard. The application has support for 30 languages, PenReader will integrates 100% with the Android OS and as such, you can use it in place of the default keyboard in any application. There are four types of input method,

  • Joint-up text recognition mode
  • Letter-by-letter mode
  • Smart input
  • Separate mode
