Final Fantasy creator releases his latest epic RPG: Terra Battle 2

Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi recently discussed his plans for the Terra World video game series. Sakaguchi aims to release eight titles over the next six years, an ambitious undertaking that will see the beloved designer through to retirement age in Japan (that being 60 years old, though Sakaguchi says he actually has no plans to retire then). The second of these games, Terra Battle 2, is now available on Android.

Terra Battle 2 is a direct sequel to the acclaimed original Terra Battle, from Sakaguchi’s Mistwalker Corporation studio. As you might expect from the creator of Final Fantasy, the Terra Battle series features an epic story set in a fantasy universe, with a strategic party-based battle system.

Though the sequel features the same core battle mechanics as the first game, Terra Battle 2 includes an all-new world map which allows players to travel alongside their companions, adding another element of strategy to the title as players decide in which formation to enter battle.
