Temple Run, known as the running game that set Google Play ablaze, has hit the all-important 10 million downloads mark. This is an incredible feat for a game that’s only been available for less than a month on the Android platform.

To celebrate the milestone, Temple Run’s game developer, Imangi Studios, has decided to update the app by adding a new social media feature, as well as by fixing some bugs. Thanks to newly implemented Twitter integration, you can now flex your narcisstic top-score sharing tendencies easily amongst yourtwiends. As for the bugs, they have fixed a bug that makes it harder to get points, a bug that made the runner accelerate too fast, and a host of other fixes.

Apparently, there were also some spelling mistakes in the game – which have all been rectified in the new version. To tell you the truth, spelling is the least of our worry when we’re being tailed by three evil monkeys that appeared to be fueled by something other than bananas . And those evil squeaks, arghhh.

Anyway, Temple Run is worth downloading and trying out if you haven’t already become addicted to it. Come on, everyone’s doing it. If that’s the case, do share with us some of your best achievements when playing the game. While a screenshot would grant you immunity from being doubted by fellow runners, a simple text will suffice.
