Tapatalk-HD-Beta

The Tapatalk HD app for Android tablets was first teased back in October, when it was only available to download from the developer’s website. The tablet-optimized app, still in its beta version, has now been released on Google Play.

Gone are several bugs that plagued the early beta version of the app. On top of the split views, you’ll also get the following features:

  • Gallery view on bigger forums, discover new discussions by photos
  • Push Notification – instant notification of subscribed topics, private messages, likes received, mentioned, and more!
  • Portrait and Landscape view optimized
  • Forum Moderation – stick, open, close, delete, ban and more
  • Dark and Light themes

Although it’s optimized to run on Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean tablets, the app will also work on Honeycomb devices.

Since you’re essentially doing the developer a favor, you can download the Tapatalk HD beta for free until the app sheds its beta skin. The Tapatalk HD version 1.0 is expected to arrive at the end of January 2013, so you have about a month to try it out and report unknown bugs.
