When it comes to that buttery smooth Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3, those in the UK fare better than American folks who may not get the update until 2013. Three has jump started the race to bring Android 4.1 to Galaxy S3 owners in the UK, where the update has been pushed out for a couple of days. Now, more carriers have announced when customers can expect to frantically check their phone for signs of jelly.

Vodafone picks up the Samsung Galaxy Note 2

Vodafone is now stocking the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. This news comes just days after the handset was initially released in the UK. The additional UK carriers will be releasing the device in the next couple weeks, along with EE's 4G network.

EE 4G service starts October 30th, 4G LTE available nationwide in the UK by summer 2013

EE has officially announced it will launch its 4G service in the UK on October 30th in ten lucky cities. What does that mean for the rest of the UK carriers? Telecommunications watchdog Ofcom has now confirmed that 4G services will reach the other carries starting around the spring and summer of 2013.

Vodafone Galaxy Note 2 price revealed for Germany: 640 Euros for 16GB unlocked LTE version

In addition to not saying a word about the actual release dates of the Galaxy Note 2 phablet, Samsung also failed to unveil pricing details for the device. Sure, the Galaxy Note 2 will sell both unlocked and bundled with multi-year plans with carriers, so it’s harder for Samsung to mention the price during a general event. But it could have hinted at some price points for the various Galaxy Note 2 versions that will soon hit stores.

Engadget has learned that Vodafone Germany plans to charge 640 Euros for the 16GB unlocked LTE version of the Galaxy Note 2, which translates to roughly $800. And that’s just for the 16GB version – remember that [...]
