Samsung had huge problems with the worldwide release of the S2 last year, needing several months to get the phone in stores across the five continents. Fortunately, the issues have disappeared with the new Galaxy S3 and we’re hoping to see the new flagship smartphone get from Europe and Asia to the US in less than a month. Unfortunately, Sammy has still encountered some more minor issues with the phone’s distribution, and was forced to only offer the white 16 GB version in many markets. The 32 GB model has only started shipping in a couple of markets around the…

[Update] Since this article was written, Samsung has confirmed the delays in an official statement that you can read below. Heads up, UK folks! There’s some bad news about the Samsung Galaxy S3 that you’d definitely want to know about. Some UK carriers and retailers are now reporting a possible shipment delay of the flagship phone. Vodafone said that customers who pre-ordered the 32GB Marble White model of the phone aren’t likely to get the phones tomorrow. The carrier also mentioned the same delay will be faced by those who pre-ordered the 16GB and 32GB Pebble Blue models of the phone….

With technology enthusiasts in the United States still not knowing when (and for what price) to expect the Galaxy S3, Sammy’s new flagship phone, things are starting to shape up in Europe. UK’s most important carriers have officially announced when they’ll put the phone up for sale and how much it will cost. The good news is that you’ll be able to get the Galaxy S3 free of charge. The bad news is that not all carriers offer the next Galaxy for free, and those that do require some hefty new plans to be activated. Vodafone will be the first…

Folks, it’s our pleasure to report that all the debates (if there were any) about the HTC Golf being officially called either the Wildfire C or the Desire C can finally be put to rest. More pictures of the entry-level smartphone have leaked, and this time, they give us a better look of the phone and its specs. And yes, it will be called the HTC Desire C. Shown on Vodafone Portugal’s catalog of upcoming phones, the specs of the HTC Desire C don’t vary too much from earlier reports. But, as it always happens in this cases, it’s sure nice to…

Samsung Galaxy S3

As expected, the Samsung Galaxy S3 fever is increasing as we get closer to the official unveiling, next week. While we still have very little in terms of official information about the future handheld, the PR guys at Samsung are doing a brilliant job of keeping us on our toes and gradually “leaking” details about it. The most recent news we have to report about the “next Galaxy” is, believe it or not, official, and, even though it doesn’t refer to the phone’s tech specs, features or pricing, it should make a couple of tech geeks even more excited about…

Vodafone like HTC and seem to love Android. They currently have a mini army of Android phones available, including the HTC Legend, Nexus One, and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. Now Vodafone have one of their very own custom branded Android devices known as the Vodafone 845. The Vodafone 845 isn’t in the same league as the aforementioned devices when it comes to the specification sheet. However, it is positioned right in the middle of the mass consumer market and packs enough to keep a wide audience happy; from teenagers through to older-folk. Not every needs cutting edge after all. The…

This Dell ‘roadmap’ reveals forthcoming Android based devices from computer manufacturer Dell, including a rough timeline on when we can expect to see them materialise. This particular visualisation of Dell’s timeline comes via AndroidCentral, and reveals two new tablet/netbook class devices called “Sparta” and “Athens”. Both devices are alleged to be around the 11” mark, but the Sparta is a tablet while the Athens is considered a 0.9-kilogram “True notebook”. Both devices come with optional 3G, WiFi, and Bluetooth, powered by an an ARM based processor. Now, maybe I am missing something here but according to the original source, AndroidCentral…

Vodafone UK site links HTC Desire HTC Legend Sony Ericsson…

The HTC Legend is now available for pre-order on Vodafone UK, and other websites operating as resellers for Vodafone. The website quite clearly states that if you pre-order yours today you should receive it first, and it is expected on 6 April, which is a Tuesday. It wouldn’t surprise me if this ended up hitting your pocket by Monday or earlier. Vodafone as pushing the fact there is ‘Adobe Flash’ for ‘great looking websites’. Want a phone you can make your own? Go for the HTC Legend. With up to seven home screens, there’s plenty of room to get things…
