Acer CloudMobile now shipping in the UK via Expansys

Could a device that needed eight months (!) to get from unveiling to launch still be attractive? Probably not, but we know at least one company that hopes some of you will answer "yes" to that question. That’s Acer, who first introduced the CloudMobile phone back in February at MWC 2012 only to make it available today, almost 240 days later.

UK Samsung Galaxy Note 2 available now through one online retailer, next day shipping offered

Are you one of the many UK consumers impatiently waiting to get your hands on the Galaxy Note 2? If you really can't wait until next week, you may not have to. That's right, it seems that Unlocked-Mobiles is selling the Note 2 right now. According to their site, they can ship now and the successor to Samsung's famous phablet could be in your hands as early as tomorrow.

HTC One X+ makes another appearance, this time in an O2 UK flyer [Updated]

Less than 48 hours after spotting a blurry leaked pic of what @evleaks claimed was the T-Mobile version of the One X+, the phone makes another unofficial appearance, this time in the UK. The legit-looking O2 flyer offers us another chance to glance at the new handheld’s design, but also mentions some of its specs and the first pricing details.

Gardner launches GoTab 6-inch tablet with ICS for under $100

Don’t care that much about performance and need an even cheaper Android-based tablet than the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire? No problem, because Gardner’s upcoming GoTab will cost less than $100. In fact, it will be available in the UK for £59, which would translate into $96, but if it were to ever come in the US, our guess is that it wouldn’t cost more than $60 or $70.

Motorola Razr i on-contract price in UK revealed, to start from £23 a month

Launched in London just a couple of days ago, Motorola said that the Intel-based Razr i will be made available in select European markets -- UK included – starting in early October. So it’s about time we see some pricing details from UK carriers and retailers.

With no confirmation yet so far on when the phone will hit UK, there’s another quad-core offering from the Korean – the Optimus 4X HD – that you can consider, especially now that it’s been heavily discounted.

Sony’s Xperia Miro on sale on Carphone Warehouse, starts from free to £150

It was over a month ago that Carphone Warehouse opened the registration page for Sony’s compact handset, the Xperia Miro, in the UK. Since then we’ve seen many Xperia devices, from low- to high-end, introduced at the consumer electronics trade show IFA 2012 in Berlin. If your heart is still set on the Xperia Miro, you can now purchase the phone from the aforementioned retailer.
