Earlier today U.S. Cellular announced they will dramatically expand their 4G LTE network to 30 new markets beginning on November 5th. U.S. Cellular also mentioned they plan to have about 58 percent of their customers covered by LTE service by the end of 2012.

A twitter post from EV Leaks has given us an official photo of a new Boost Mobile phone model, the LG Venice. Well, the name is new at least. The leaked phone model is actually the LG Optimus L7. This is a similar move to what U.S. Cellular and LG did, renaming the L7 as the Splendor.

The Galaxy Note 2 is Samsung’s latest addition to its high-end Galaxy-branded smartphone lineup, but we still have no idea when the device will hit stores. Samsung posted on its YouTube channel its first TV commercial for the Galaxy S3. The short 15-second clip, entitled “The Next Big Thing Is Here,” shows one of the features of the handset in action, Pop Up Play, or watching a video while performing another task on the large 4.8-inch touchscreen display – in this case texting. This sort of TV-like picture-in-picture feature will also work when browsing the web, writing emails and performing other tasks.
