Thinking about switching your family over to U.S. Cellular? If so, now is certainly the time to do it. As an incentive, U.S. Cellular is running a promotion that gives new subscribers a $300 Mastercard debit card.
In case you happen to own a U.S. Cellular Galaxy S2, then you’ll be happy to hear that the carrier is finally ready to roll out the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the device – better late than never, right?
Earlier today U.S. Cellular announced they will dramatically expand their 4G LTE network to 30 new markets beginning on November 5th. U.S. Cellular also mentioned they plan to have about 58 percent of their customers covered by LTE service by the end of 2012.

A twitter post from EV Leaks has given us an official photo of a new Boost Mobile phone model, the LG Venice. Well, the name is new at least. The leaked phone model is actually the LG Optimus L7. This is a similar move to what U.S. Cellular and LG did, renaming the L7 as the Splendor.

The short 15-second clip, entitled “The Next Big Thing Is Here,” shows one of the features of the handset in action, Pop Up Play, or watching a video while performing another task on the large 4.8-inch touchscreen display – in this case texting. This sort of TV-like picture-in-picture feature will also work when browsing the web, writing emails and performing other tasks. While this particular ad ends with Sprint’s logo, and a reminder that Sprint is the only carrier of the Big Four to still allow…
