Day 5 of Google’s 25 billion downloads celebration sees Horn and Dark Knight Rises discounted to $0.25

Well, well, well, what do we have here? It’s the final day of Google Play’s 25 billion app download celebration, and talk about Google stepping up its game! After a lukewarm start to the promotion which only saw a couple of already cheap and decent games discounted to $0.25, the price cuts grew and grew only to explode today.

The Dark Knight Rises gets Nexus 7 fix in app update

The recently released companion game for Christopher Nolan’s summer blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises is available for Android and iOS devices in the Google Play and App Store, respectively.

But Android users have discovered that the game is not exactly compatible with the Google Nexus 7, the hottest Android tablet in town that started shipping just over a week ago. Nexus 7 owners were not able to download the game after purchasing it from the Google Play store but it looks like the issue has been corrected with an app update.

Batman The Dark Knight Rises coming to Android on July 20

Fans probably know that the last episode of Christopher Nolan’s epic Batman series is going to hit cinemas in the following days. But it’s worth remembering that The Dark Knight Rises is also coming to Android and iOS devices as a companion game.

Gameloft, with Warner Borthers and DC Comics supervision, has been working on the new Batman title – we have already seen a first teaser trailer – and now we have more details about this title for you. Apparently The Dark Knight Rises game will hit Google Play and the App Store simultaneously on July 20, a day after the movie is released.

The Dark Knight Rises mobile game coming to Android and iPhone this summer

Batman fans who are eagerly waiting for the upcoming blockbuster movie featuring their favorite superhero – The Dark Knight Rises – that is due this summer will be happy to hear that a special The Dark Knight Rises mobile game is being developed for both Android and iPhone.

The movie companion game was just announced by Gameloft, and from what we can see in the available video teaser trailer, the game involves quite a bit of fighting, with lots of kicking and punching. We have no idea at this time what other features The Dark Knight Rises will have to offer, but we’re apparently looking at an open-world environment and hopefully [...]
