Just in time for the start of the festive season, T-Mobile is giving customers the gifts of better 4G coverage, as the carrier improves its 1900MHz HSPA+ network in 10 markets. This means those who own unlocked AT&T handsets can benefit from the enhanced data and voice coverage.
At a recent Barcelona conference, Jim Alling, COO of T-Mobile USA, touched upon a very delicate subject for T-Mo and an issue that’s thought to have been a major contributing factor to the company’s decline – Apple’s iPhones.
That was pretty quick. Just hours after Google began referring customers to T-Mobile, the Nexus 4 is now out of stock on the carrier’s online store.
Google is now directing customers to purchase the Nexus 4 from T-Mobile. The message reads “Special Offer from T-Mobile: Get Nexus 4 for only $199 after a $50 mail-in rebate. Requires a new 2-year contract on a qualifying plan.”
T-Mobile recently had a two-day smartphone sale that included deals on Samsung smartphones. And well, while that sale has since come to an end, it looks like the carrier will bring it back this week. The T-Mobile Samsung smartphone sale will return on November 23 and run through December 20.
