It appears that the T-Mobile G1 will make it to markets outside of the U.S. quicker than we had anticipated. The UK’s RegHardware.co.uk is reporting that T-Mobile UK has stated that the G1 Android smartphone will be available to UK consumers on October 30th, a mere 15 days from now. It will be available for free to users that sign up for a 40GBP Combi or Flext plan, both of which will offer unlimited browsing and some combination of minutes and text messages. Spaghetti Cat says “Inconclusive” Britain’s Telegraph.co.uk is reporting that the HTC Dream, likely the first Android based smartphone to hit the market, will be sold in the UK exclusively through T-Mobile UK. The Telegraph is reporting that the phone will be launched as “early as November”. The story makes no mention at all of sources, anonymous or otherwise, and looks somewhat dubious.
