If the leaked image is accurate, we know that ‘Xperia Z1’ is the official name of the device. We can also surmise that pre-orders will start soon, perhaps even tomorrow after Sony announces the device at IFA.
Final Sony Z1 pics leaked, making us wish we had it in-hand
While images of this nature are often highly doubtful, these appear to be the real deal. They match up with the specs we’ve heard about, as well as previously leaked images. These pics happen to show a bit more detail, and are a touch more glamorous than those we’ve seen before.

An anonymous tipster, who claims to work for UK carrier Three UK, has passed along a screenshot regarding device release dates. The picture, believed to be internal documentation from Three, shows the release dates for two highly anticipated devices: the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z1.
