Sony’s new flagship, first known as the Yuga and then as the Xperia Z, stopped being a secret a while ago, so you can’t say we’re very surprised to see it on display at CES.
While we didn’t expect Samsung to unveil its 2013 flagship device at CES, we certainly waited for Sony to announce its own high-end super Android phone at this year Las Vegas trade show.
Guess who’s planning to bring the house down at CES 2013? It’s none other than Sony Mobile, which has sent a teaser e-mail just before the start of the trade show.
CES is one of the most important and glamorous yearly trade shows in technology, and, although this year’s event might not be very spectacular, there are still numerous gadgets to look for with excitement.
Sony seems to be bent on releasing controlled images at regular intervals to garner the required hype before it launches the much touted Xperia Z. The promising images of the sleek handsets speak volumes of what one can expect.
To say there’s been a lot of fuss about Sony’s upcoming flagship duo would be a huge understatement and it would certainly not make justice to the media circus we’ve had to handle these past couple of months.
Earlier today we told you that the Xperia Z – formerly known as the Yuga – could be launched in mid-January after being unveiled at CES 2013, if one rumor is to be believed.
We have recently learned that the Sony Yuga will be known to the crowds as the Xperia Z and now we hear that the phone will be launched one week after CES 2013, where the device will be unveiled.
New rumors are making the rounds that Sony Yuga is going to be launched as the next Xperia model. It is going to be called Sony Xperia Z.
