But a startup company says Siri is actually limited in its understanding of language. Even though Apple markets Siri’s artificial intelligence as understanding human speech even without special syntax or keywords, SkyPhrase says their solution is far more advanced.

A quick test of Google’s newly released voice search app for iOS reveals its superior performance over the native Siri. Even though limited to web based searches, Google voice search renders quicker and more accurate results compared to Siri. Anyone surprised?

Okay, so voice communication with a smartphone isn’t anything new, but Nuance is hoping to take things up a notch. The company has already begun active work with chip companies to create a chipset that would allow phones and tablets to wake themselves up from sleep mode and start answering your voice-based questions.
