by: Chris SmithJune 1, 2012

Upgrade Samsung Infuse 4G to Android 2.3.6 Firmware UCLB3

by: Ken EastMarch 15, 2012

The newly leaked firmware UCLB3 of Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread is now available for owners of the Samsung Infuse 4G to grab.  While there are still no ICS OTA updates rolling out for the Samsung Infuse 4G, this firmware will do the trick for the mean time.

It’s not Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, sadly, but since the latter is still not yet out for the Infuse 4G, this latest version of Gingerbread  is something that you could try for now while waiting for ICS.

Leaked firmware UCLB3 is an official build from Samsung.  So, you can practically use this to bring your phone back to stock firmware.  This can come in handy if you encounter problems like getting [...]

Upgrade Samsung Infuse 4G to Android 2.3.6 Firmware UCLB1

by: Carl ParkerFebruary 28, 2012

It’s raining Samsung firmware leaks and this time, even the Samsung Infuse 4G gets an upgrade. Thanks to our friends on the XDA Developers Forum, Samsung Infuse 4G users now have a new firmware based on the Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread build UCLB1. The firmware can be flashed through Odin3, but users who have never tried this before have no need to worry. The process is very fast and simple.

Unfortunately, this firmware leak is only compatible with Samsung Infuse 4G model number I997 and should not be attempted on other phone models as it may lead to bricking. You may check your device’s model number through “Settings > About [...]

Samsung Infuse 4G, Android 2.3.6 Update Available over Kies Mini

by: AlexanderFebruary 2, 2012

Good news for all of you Samsung Infuse 4G owners, it looks like the update to Android 2.3.6 is now available through Kies Mini. The bad news is that it’s available through Kies Mini only. Yeah we all know Kies is the worst part of having a Samsung phone. As you can see above a lot of devices and people are having Kies say that your device is “unregistered device”. That’s just not fun at all.

But at least the update is finally out there, hopefully all the bugs with Kies Mini are worked out soon. It’s a shame that it’s such a mess right now until Samsung gets this all sorted out.

Have you updated your Samsung Infuse 4G yet? Are you [...]
