We initially speculated that Samsung will be revealing the Galaxy S3 at next month’s Mobile World Congress. However, Chris Ziegler (The Verge) and other German sites are reporting that the Android manufacturer will not be announcing the device in Barcelona.
For many people, this is a complete surprise, especially since both the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy S II first made a debut a day before last year’s MWC. So if you’re hoping to see the successor of the company’s flagship smartphone on February 27, you might end up disappointed.
One of the reasons why experts believe the announcement of the Galaxy S3 will be delayed is because the company is ‘uncomfortable with [...]

Ever since the success of the Samsung Galaxy S2 last year, many have been expecting when a new model will be released. With the number of press releases Samsung published about their growing sales figures, a sequel to the S2 was only the right thing to do. Especially with the company’s recent announcement of several new Exynos cores, it can be expected that they will be utilized to boost the new Galaxy S. There is also much reason to believe that the Galaxy SIII will be powered by a dual-core processor (at a minimum). But with [...]

Just when you are still trying to catch your breath over the Samsung Galaxy S II, the Korean company seems to have started testing possible processors to put on the the Galaxy S II’s successor, aptly and fondly codenamed the Samsung Galaxy S III.
A likely candidate is Samsung’s own dual-core Exynos processor, which is already inside most of the Galaxy S II versions. However, a quad-core Exynos has been recently discovered by Korean blog Chocoberry: Paradise Lost.
While sorting through postings and logs on the Linux Kernel Archives, Chocoberry stumbled upon mentions of an Exynos 4412, a 32 nm ARM Cortex-A9 with four cores. The Exynos 4412 [...]
