Samsung has now announced that its upcoming Premium Suite update will start rolling out to select Samsung devices, with the first upgrades starting today. Besides Android 4.3 and Gear support, Samsung also promises improved multi-window support, easy mode and more.

The Galaxy Gear is, right now, only compatible with the Note 3 and some Galaxy S4 units, but that should change over the next weeks. The Galaxy S4, Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S4 mini, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy Mega 5.8, Galaxy Mega 6.3, and Galaxy S4 zoom are on the list.

The Galaxy Note 3 SIM card region lock is apparently a serious issue for many buyers, with Samsung yet to offer a clear explanation for this new policy. Furthermore, it looks like future Android 4.4 KitKat updates will bring the same region lock to older Galaxy handsets.
