T-Mobile Gets Their First No-Contract 4G Smartphone – Samsung Exhibit II 4G

Last night T-Mobile announced the Samsung Exhibit II 4G smartphone which features a 3.7-inch display, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It’ll be available from Walmart beginning October 27th, and at T-Mobile stores starting November 2nd. It’s T-Mobile’s first no-contract phone and will sell outright for $199. If you prefer to sign away two years, khowever, you can snag the phone for just $29.99 (after $50 rebate).

Samsung is On the Ball – Samsung Exhibit Headed to T-Mobile?

Samsung is obviously getting ready for its landmark Samsung Galaxy S II’s release, which (for North Americans, at least) should be anytime from the end of May to early June. Even if the Samsung Galaxy S II hasn’t been launched in North America yet, Samsung is already readying a new smartphone headed to T-Mobile. Samsung and T-Mobile enthusiasts are probably getting excited after hearing this good news.

The latest smartphone from Samsung is slated for T-Mobile HSPA+ bands. And, it’s speculated to carry the name Exhibit 4G. The Samsung Exhibit 4G is somewhat of a mid-range/high-end hybrid and looks like Verizon’s recently released Droid Charge.
