Remember the Android tablet from HTC that was supposedly going to debut at CES? The tablet and its super-secret unveiling never materialized and now we may know why. Bloggers rejoice! There may be an official WordPress app in the works for Android devices. The Blog Herald has discovered that WordPress has created a blog subdomain at android.wordpress.org. If this is any indication of foreshadowing then let it be known that they did the same thing when creating apps for the iPhone and BlackBerry. CES 2010 is coming fast and the rumors about what will be announced next week at the industry’s largest trade show are starting to flow. Global Equities Research analyst Trip Chowdhry jumped on the Android rumor bandwagon by predicting that Motorola will debut two new Android handsets with OLED displays during its pre-CES press conference on January 6th. It appears that today is a DigiTimes kinda day. The Taiwan based site is now quoting the Chinese language Economic Daily News website as providing some new information from Peter Chou, HTC’s CEO.
