DROID owners that don’t mind voiding warranties can head over to areacellphone.com and following the nine step process to overclock your DROID. The process requires you to root your device and flash your phone with the aptly named evilboot8.img to overclock your DROID to 800MHz, evilboot9.img to reach 900MHz or evilboot1g.img for blazing 1GHz.
