Although it is just over one year old, Barnes & Noble’s Nook Tablet is definitely nearing its end of life. B&N has stopped selling the 7-incher on the company’s website for a while, with remainder stock being pushed out mostly through third-party retailers.
Owners of B&N’s Nook tablets (both HD and HD+) now have the choice to listen to more than 18 million songs made available by Rdio, a multi-platform ad-free music service provider. In addition, Rdio now features a music discovery service powered by Echo Nest.
