Jelly Bean is still just a fantasy for most devices out there, especially the ones that could run Android 4.1 but are yet to receive the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update.
Such is the case with Canadian Motorola RAZR users that are still waiting to officially taste ICS on their handsets. However, there’s good news for them as Mobile Syrup is reporting that Motorola Canada mentioned on its Facebook Page an “early September” rollout of the RAZR ICS update:
“We wanted to share with you that the RAZR ICS upgrade will rollout in early September. We’ll have more details about the upgrade to share with you soon, so stay tuned!”
Device manufacturers and network carriers have received a lot of flak for the slow rollout of the Android 4.0 update. For an OS that was announced almost a year back, it is quite sad to see that only 10% of the Android devices worldwide currently sport ICS. Even though the question of “When will I get Jellybean?” is on everyone’s mind, OEMs are slowly catching up with an OS rollout that should have happened a lot faster. It’s not like the technology infrastructure doesn’t exist to do such things; we’re talking about the mobile network of smartphones here!

Motorola announced a Q2 Android 4.0 rollout for the Razr and Razr MAXX, and with only nine days to go, it looks like the company is trying its best to meet the deadline. DroidLife reports that soak test invitations are [...]
You loved your Android phone back home, but what if it won’t work when you head to Europe for a two-week vacation? What if you’re in Japan for a business trip and your Android smartphones data plan isn’t working because your carrier’s coverage is nowhere to be found? Thankfully, it looks like more and more carriers are opening up their devices to be compatible with networks abroad.
GSM and CDMA are the two primary connectivity protocols used by today’s mobile devices. GSM is the dominant connectivity standard, and is very popular in Europe, Canada, and pretty much the rest of the world. LTE is based off the GSM standard.

The Motorola Droid Razr is definitely among the most powerful and durable devices that you can find on the market.
