Versus

Overview Back in October, two extremely hot phones came on the market practically unnoticed. Mostly, this was due to the fact that one was on T-Mobile (Amaze 4G) and the other was released on AT&T at the same time as the iPhone 4S was released. Despite their poor entrances, both devices have a lot to offer, and might still be two of the top Android smartphones on the market today. Although neither device will have a screen like other rumored devices, if your looking for a new phone, rumors might just not cut it for you if you need a…

Atrix-2-vs-Atrix

Motorola and AT&T have just released the successor to the original Atrix. While the differences aren’t quite as substantial as from, say the Samsung Galaxy S to the Galaxy S II, there are some fairly significant differences between the two Android powered phones. Of them, perhaps biggest differences are the fact that it’s faster, will have a bigger display, will have significantly faster connectivity, and that Motorola decided to get rid of the finger print reader, a personal favorite of mine. When curious owners tinkered with the Webtop files for the Motorola DROID Bionic, they unearthed a curious name of a yet-unknown Motorola handset–the Motorola Edison. It turns out that this name is just an internal codename for the Motorola ATRIX 2 whose delicious-looking images showed up late in July this year. Boy Genius Report (BGR), which was given the new leaked images, reports that the new handset will be a bumped up version of the earlier Motorola ATRIX 4G on AT&T. Unfortunately, BGR’s source mentioned that the Motorola ATRIX 2 (MB865) will not be LTE-capable. The photos that BGR acquired…

att-leaked-roadmap-for-q4

At least six new Android 2.3 Gingerbread devices are falling upon AT&T this fall (or late summer), according to an alleged AT&T roadmap detailing the devices’ internal codenames, operating systems, display resolution, RAM, camera resolution, battery capacity, HSDPA category, and release period. The screenshot of the alleged roadmap was leaked to Pocketnow and shows that two devices each come from Samsung and Pantech, and one each from Motorola and Huawei. The two upcoming Samsung devices are something we have become familiar with lately. One is the Samsung Singa (SGH-I777), whose handset number suggests that it’s the AT&T variant of the…
