Angry Heroes Online: High fantasy with a twist

by: Dan EvansNovember 30, 2012

There’s nothing funnier than a game that pokes fun at its own genre. While high-fantasy settings can be breathtaking and interesting, sometimes it takes itself too seriously. You’re a noble knight on a quest to restore your lost honor and you need to battle others and travel the land. How often has this been done before? It’s easy to eye high-fantasy in any form skeptically.

Artibus’ Angry Heroes (Free), however, is here to renew your love for the genre. This game is a delightful MMORPG that makes fun of the high fantasy setting and gives it a new twist.

Some of the major changes include increased level cap, the removal of energy system from game progress, a new ally system that lets you gain allies as you move forward in the game and use them for XP, money and more. The game also features two new campaigns: Willowbrook Parish (levels 20 – 23) and Morhaven District (levels 23 – 25).

But that’s not all. You’ve probably seen Dr. Kriegberg, [...]

Free to play MMORPG Dragon Eternity from Game Insight coming soon to Google Play

by: AdrianJune 26, 2012

Now that exams are finally over (for many of you, at least) and summer holiday is on, you’re probably on the hunt for some cool new games to keep you busy on those long, hot afternoons when you have nothing else to do but tweet, like and share.

Game Insight, the Russian mobile game developer “guilty” of unleashing in Google Play such popular titles as Paradise Island, Crime Story, Rule the Kingdom or Diamonds Blaze, is currently working on an MMORPG that, at least on paper, looks to fit the bill.

Dragon Eternity might not be the future World of Warcraft for mobile devices, but it could well be the reason for many a nights spent slaying monsters on a 4-inch [...]

by: Ankit BanerjeeApril 16, 2012

Mobile devices are now moving into the age of multi-cores, with high-end Android devices leading the pack with their quad-core powerhouses. With the advancements in processor technology, the scope of mobile gaming on smartphones and tablets has been growing in both size and quality.

On the other hand, mobile gaming exponentially increases the potential reach of MMO (massively multiplayer online) games. So far, the biggest problem for MMO games on mobile devices has been cross-platform compatibility. While game developers generally release games in both Android and iOS versions, each version is platform-specific and multiplayer gaming across platforms is not always [...]
