The first-gen LG Lucid hasn’t exactly been Verizon’s biggest box-office hit (or LG’s, for that matter), but rumors about a follow-up have been floating around for quite some time now.
The LG Optimus F5 has been tapped by Big Red to replace the aging LG Lucid 4G. Aside from being stamped with the usual Verizon logo, the mid-range phone will also get a name makeover.

Well, this is a disappointment. LG’s supposed grand MWC outing, teased quite heavily in the past weeks, turned out to be nothing more than a recap of previously released and/or leaked devices.
We knew better than to get super-excited when LG vaguely teased the new F-Series, and yesterday’s F5 and F7 leaks seemed to confirm our fears.
LG has certainly been vague in teasing the company’s MWC 2013 presence, but that hasn’t stopped the pieces of the puzzle from falling into place via unofficial leaks.
