Back in September, AT&T launched a midrange Android device with a rather impressive battery life, the LG Escape. Now a new FCC spotting suggests that a new version of the Escape might be heading to Verizon as well.

The Escape (aka LG P870) was seen in a pretty blurry “press shot” less than a week ago, and now stars in another more high-def-ish pic. The new “leak” comes from the @evleaks Twitter account, a very solid source of credible rumors these past few months.

A new LG handheld set to hit the States has been leaked, hopefully just paving the way for other more exciting unveilings. The LG P870, also known as the Escape, is an LTE-enabled AT&T-bound smartphone that stars in what DroidDog calls leaked “press shots”.
