Remember the Lenovo K800 smartphone that we spotted back at CES 2012? We told you then that the phone is coming out in the Asian markets in Q2 2012. True enough, one of the first Intel Medfield-powered smartphones and the first from a big name manufacturer, the Lenovo K800, is now up for pre-order. But only in China. Don’t get mad at us, because we also told you that the device will be released in Asia before hitting the global markets. So, we’re still right as of this moment.

With the recently concluded CES 2012 event, we’re still having a pretty good hangover on the products that caught our attention. One of which, is the new Lenovo K800. We particularly liked this device because it was unlike the others who ran on dual or even quad-core processors.
Even though the Lenovo K800 has a single-core chip, it is still the very first Android device to operate using the new Atom Z2460 chip by Intel, clocked at 1.6GHz. Other features of the phone include a 4.5-inch 720p display, 8MP camera with 1080p video recorder, and a front-facing camera.
