While we can’t really claim secrets are better kept in the Android décor than in Apple’s world, especially now, we can’t help but laugh our behinds off whenever iPhone clones looking exactly like the originals come out before the authentic devices.

Apparently Apple has unexpectedly unveiled a new iPhone model a lot earlier than anticipated. Dubbed the iPhone 5C – and not iPhone 5S – the handset targets primarily college-aged girls that tend to shatter the display of the device in various scenarios.

It’s not every day that you’re going to hear a Samsung exec talking about how he uses an iPhone, iPad and Mac at home, and how he prefers Apple’s ecosystem’s to Samsung’s device centric policy. Let alone the company’s president and chief strategy office Young Sohn.

Android is still just warming up in some markets. In Australia, for instance, Android smartphones have only started overtaking the iPhone. This year so far, 67% of smartphones sold down under were Android devices. Summing up total smartphone usage in the country, Android has overtaken the iPhone, with a 44% market share, versus the iPhone’s 43%, as reported by Australian market research firm Telsyte.
