US Cellular releases the budget-priced Huawei Ascend Y

US Cellular has recently released another budget-friendly Android smartphone. The device is the Huawei Ascend Y and at the moment, it can be purchased on-contract for one penny, or off-contract for just $99.99.

Huawei announces two new Android phones, Including the World’s Thinnest Smartphone

That’s right Huawei now has the world’s thinnest smartphone, but where CES hasn’t officially started yet I am sure there will be more thinner ones. Huawei this morning announced the Ascend P1 S and the Ascend P1. The P1 S is the thinnest, most likely for GSM markets. While the P1 is a bit thicker most likely an LTE phone.

Huawei’s press conference starts at 8am PST, and we will be covering it for you. In the meantime check out the P1 and P1 S specs below:
