by: AdrianDecember 10, 2012

Great limited deal going on right now: HTC Sensation 4G available for free from T-Mobile

by: AdrianMay 3, 2012

HTC seems to be really going out of its way to somehow overshadow the Galaxy S3’s unveiling set to take place in London today and is just throwing special deals and promotions at us. Vodafone UK’s One X and S had their prices slashed recently and, today, US smartphone lovers have their own reasons to be happy with HTC. T-Mobile’s Sensation 4G is available for a limited time only for free (with contract), which is a fabulous deal anyway you look at it.

The Sensation might not be as snappy and elegant as the One X, but is still a pretty great gadget and, it will most likely satisfy your thirst for technology, without paying a dime.

On the other hand, if you think [...]

Capturing uncompressed 1080p Full HD photos on HTC Sensation with HQ Camera for ICS mod

by: Carl ParkerApril 4, 2012

Don’t let that perfect moment or that candid shot you’ll never get to sneak in again with pass you by. The best camera, after all, is the one you have with you. For shutterbugs who have shed their digital cameras for the compactness of their phone’s camera, being able to take the best possible pictures is a must. Too often, however, pictures taken by phones can be compressed and as a result, can look a little grainy and unsatisfactory.

Thanks to NODO-GT, senior member of XDA Developers, it’s now possible to take beautifu,l uncompressed pictures with your HTC Sensation with an increased size cap. Your 8-megapixel photos will look stunning. On top [...]

Tweak and customize your HTC Sensation with Leedroid Tweaks package

by: Paul NuñalApril 3, 2012

The HTC Sensation is one of HTC’s flagship phones that feature HTC’s signature Sense UI. But then again, there are users who still want to have that power to customize their phones in a manner that matches their style and feel.

Rooting and flashing custom ROMs have already become the major pathways to further customization, but then again, they don’t necessarily carry improvements when it comes to enhancing the HTC Sense UI.  Worry no more, as Leedroid Tweaks lets you customize your phone beyond what Sense UI allows you to.

Leedroid Tweaks is authored by XDA Developers member j4n87, together with richmondo and m0narx. What makes Leedroid Tweaks interesting [...]

After the HTC One series of phones was announced at this year’s Mobile World Congress, numerous firmware leaks began to surface based on those different HTC devices.  HTC’s Sense 4.0 UI looks promising on the HTC One phones and with the firmware leaks already scattered all throughout the Internet, many HTC fans are rejoicing as those leaks are now being ported to older HTC models.

One such lucky HTC device to receive a direct port of the firmware leak is the HTC Sensation.  Developed by XDA Developers member shnizlon, the OrDroid custom ROM is an Ice Cream Sandwich ROM based on the latest leaked RUU firmware (version 1.53.401.2) for the HTC One [...]

by: Carl ParkerMarch 16, 2012

Android 4.0 to reach 16 existing HTC smartphones. The Sensation family is first in line!

by: Mike AndriciMarch 14, 2012

Although Google launched the Ice Cream Sandwich flavor of its mobile OS back in November 2011, recent reports show that the adoption rate for Android 4.0 is still hovering at less than 2%. That’s quite a low figure if you take into account that five months have passed since the official release of the new, unified Android version. Fortunately, things are about to change very soon, as an increasing number of tablet and smartphone manufacturers have begun announcing the ICS update for their existing devices.

Yesterday, Samsung has started pushing out the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for its insanely popular Samsung Galaxy S2, and now it’s HTC’s turn to share some [...]
