HTC’s latest Android Superphone – the HTC Amaze is, in our opinion, a bit of an unknown device, but it’s packing specs that demand it be taken very seriously. htc-launching-event-september-20

HTC is hosting a “celebration” in New York City this coming September 20, and no one has any clear idea what will be celebrated, although the invitations that HTC has been sending out to the press say “Come celebrate in style with HTC.” Unlike Samsung’s press invitation for its U.S. launching of the Samsung Galaxy S II last August 30, HTC’s event doesn’t give a hint about anything. We are suspecting, as is usual with such events, that HTC will be unveiling a new device. As to whether the device will be an Android, Windows Phone 7, or Qualcomm Brew–operating…

Either Samsung Hercules or the HTC Ruby (HTC Amaze 4G)–or both–could possibly be slated for release on T-Mobile on October 15. A leaked timetable has revealed a “major release” scheduled for that day. TmoNews received last weekend a leaked photo of a timetable allegedly for internal use by T-Mobile employees. The partial image of the timetable shows portions of the schedule for September and October–and T-Mobile seems to have several upcoming product launches for October, one of which is flagged as a “Major Release.” The timetable also shows what could possibly be 4 different devices, each one flagged as a…

HTC made buckets of money by making a ton of great Android phones last year, with Microsoft reaping sneaky royalties off their hard-earned success, through patent intimidation. Thankfully, the boys over at HTC from the cool island of Taiwan are at it again, and are releasing device after device with some seriously high end specs on board. According to Thai blog,  Droid Sans, HTC is readying a phone that has what we now consider to be the bare-minimum for all super phones going forward – have a look at the jaw-dropping specs below. Specs 4.3-inch, 960 x 540 qHD Display…
