HTC Rhyme vs DROID 3 vs DROID CHARGE vs LG Revolution

by: Ken EastDecember 7, 2011

There are a lot of phones popping out everywhere in the market and we find ourselves confused about which phone we ought spend our hard-earned money on.  Most of the time, those phones that are heavily marketed are the only ones that catch our attention.

It is somewhat impractical to compare every little detail of the currently offered phones in the market.  But, for those who have a tight budget, it’s often a necessity to compare the features and choose the one with best specs with the least price.

We take a look at four Android phones that are currently offered in the market: the HTC Rhyme, Motorola Droid 3, Samsung Droid Charge and the LG Revolution.  These [...]

by: Paul NuñalDecember 1, 2011

The smartphone wars continue everyday as mobile manufacturers are getting head-to-head in an intense battle for power and dominance. Two of Verizon’s new offerings promising to be powerhouse smartphones, the iPhone 4S and the HTC Rhyme are two of the most-wanted smartphones that many customers can’t decide which one is best for them. With both models coming from two different worlds, we’ll take a closer look at what separates them from each other.

Design and Display

The HTC Rhyme with its 3.7-inch S-LCD touch screen display is large enough to fill your appetite for ultimate viewing pleasure. Capable of rendering 480×800 resolution, the device is [...]

Review of HTC Rhyme – More Style than Power [Video]

by: Will G.October 28, 2011

The HTC Rhyme is a new device, designed for the more stylish and fashionable Android user. This device packs a sleek punch with a nice purple detailed casing and strong durability. We found the phone to be very durable, using metals instead of most plastics. It also has a removable battery, which an increasing number of phones are starting to phase out, ever aspiring to be thinner and thinner.

Through an unboxing, HTC has provided an impressive purple box, with a ribbon to pull the device out. There are definite elements that are more feminine than say, a DROID branded device.

Opening the Android “diva” box left us with a nice set of earbuds and a charm, [...]

by: AlexanderOctober 27, 2011

HTC’s plum-colored Android phone, the HTC Rhyme–which many say is a ladies phone–has finally made its way into the U.K. The HTC Rhyme is now available exclusively at O2.

Available both on and off contract from the carrier, this purple delight can be yours for free on a two-year £27 a month deal, or for £349.99 off contract. Also included are the Bluetooth docking station, the tangle-free earbuds, and of course, the Charm.

For those of you not familiar with the HTC Rhyme, it features a 3.7-inch display with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The Rhyme also brings you a 1-GHz processor, with 4 GB of flash memory and 768 MB of RAM–which are standard [...]

Yesterday in New York, HTC has official announced its new mid-ranged smartphone with a feminine twist and style–the HTC Rhyme–to be released on Verizon Wireless this month.

The HTC Rhyme (formerly codenamed the HTC Bliss) will be on Verizon’s shelves starting September 29 with a price of US$199 (on a two-year contract).

Meanwhile, folks in the U.K. will be able to get their HTC Rhyme through phone retailer O2, which has confirmed that it will be releasing the phone in the U.K. this coming October 17.

HTC Invites Press to “Celebrate in Style” in NYC on September 20, Might Launch New Android Device

by: Elmer MontejoSeptember 12, 2011

HTC is hosting a “celebration” in New York City this coming September 20, and no one has any clear idea what will be celebrated, although the invitations that HTC has been sending out to the press say “Come celebrate in style with HTC.”

Unlike Samsung’s press invitation for its U.S. launching of the Samsung Galaxy S II last August 30, HTC’s event doesn’t give a hint about anything. We are suspecting, as is usual with such events, that HTC will be unveiling a new device.

As to whether the device will be an Android, Windows Phone 7, or Qualcomm Brew–operating systems that run on HTC phones (with Android holding [...]

HTC Rhyme Shows Up on Verizon Price List, Could Be HTC Bliss Loaded with Beats Tech

by: Dave FerilSeptember 6, 2011

Verizon has an upcoming mid-range Android smartphone from HTC–and it’s possible that the phone may be carrying Beats by Dr. Dre technology.

A Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) list allegedly from Verizon Wireless found its way to Droid Life and showed the HTC Rhyme with a price tag of US$200.

Very little is currently known about the HTC Rhyme. The MAP list shows it with model number ADR6330, which seems close to the model number of the HTC Merge (ADR6325) and the HTC DROID Incredible 2 (ADR6350).

This device might share the appearance of either of the two aforementioned devices, although it is tough to tell for now.

Also, the HTC Rhyme’s price [...]
