Historically, HTC smartphones were well-known for their design and hardware, but in one important aspect, they lagged behind the competition, and that is cameras. While over the last years, models such as the Sensation 4G repaired some of that bad reputation, HTC just couldn’t claim that it offers top-notch cameras on their smartphones. I’m sure HTC fans will remember this image. It’s the HTC 1 concept made a designer called Andrew Kim, who was obviously a big fan of HTC at the time, too. It got picked up by some major blogs, and became quite popular because it was a very interesting design compared to what was on the market in early 2010. It still does appeal, I believe, although it’s made a little outdated by its thickness. HTC plans to announce something exciting at MWC today – the long rumored HTC One X and HTC One S, also known as Endeavor and Ville, respectively. In fact, the Taiwanese have been literally counting the days to their Sunday announcement. But, as it so often happens, somebody had to come along and ruin the fun for HTC.
