by: AdrianDecember 10, 2012
It’s been a while since the last time HTC officially tackled the “Jelly Bean situation”, and, with only one phone being currently upgraded (and rather slowly), you can say things aren’t looking good for people still on ICS.

by: Joe HindyOctober 2, 2012
A few months after HTC released the Over-The-Air update, they have finally put up the manual update on their HTCDev website. It comes in executable format, which is kind of odd. You must run this off of your computer in order to update your Incredible S. Included in the update is Sense 3.6 and Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Bell Canada: HTC Incredible S won’t be getting Android 4.0

by: AdrianAugust 29, 2012
HTC seems to have really messed things up with the Incredible S, a phone that has received Ice Cream Sandwich in many parts of the world in July, but that for some reason won’t get the same treatment over in Canada. At least that’s what Bell is saying on Twitter, because on HTC Canada’s official website there’s still an update information announcement saying that “we’ll be making ICS available for download on … HTC Desire S”.

by: Chris SmithJuly 2, 2012

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean may be the hottest Android OS version in town, but the update is going to take its time to arrive to supported devices. Samsung and HTC have released vague statements regarding Jelly Bean upgrades, therefore in the mean time we’re still focusing on Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades, as various Android device makers are rolling them out as we speak.

Such is the case of the HTC [...]

by: Alvin YbañezFebruary 7, 2012

Owners of the HTC Incredible S surely love the phone and its 4-inch cinematic display and surround audio powered by SRS. Aside from having a unique contoured design for a tighter grip, the HTC Incredible S also packs a 1 GHz processor for efficient multitasking and a built-in camcorder for capturing moments in HD–both of which makes the phone superbly appealing.  As if those weren’t enough, the HTC Incredible S now has one more reason to become more lovable–Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich accessible to the device via the Virtuous Quattro ROM.

How to Update HTC Incredible S with MIUI Custom ROM Firmware

by: JoseDecember 29, 2011

HTC did a great job with the Incredible S. This smartphone is nicely built from the inside out. The device is packed with a decently powered 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a 4-inch Super LCD display. Combined with its sleek design, the HTC Incredible S made it to the list of popular Android smartphones.

One of the things that made this device popular is the ever-dependable Sense UI which is preloaded on the device like most HTC smartphones that run the Android platform. And, as popular and dependable as it may seem, we still have to acknowledge the fact that there will be people who’d prefer something else. This is where the idea of building custom ROMs [...]

Before you head out installing the ICS ROM to your device, be forewarned that several features are still non-functional, considering that the ROM is still [...]
