by: Alvin YbañezSeptember 21, 2011

Yesterday in New York, HTC has official announced its new mid-ranged smartphone with a feminine twist and style–the HTC Rhyme–to be released on Verizon Wireless this month.

The HTC Rhyme (formerly codenamed the HTC Bliss) will be on Verizon’s shelves starting September 29 with a price of US$199 (on a two-year contract).

Meanwhile, folks in the U.K. will be able to get their HTC Rhyme through phone retailer O2, which has confirmed that it will be releasing the phone in the U.K. this coming October 17.

The HTC Rhyme is also expected to reach Europe and Asia in October and could come in a variety of colors (e.g., silver, mocha, blue–in addition to [...]

HTC Invites Press to “Celebrate in Style” in NYC on September 20, Might Launch New Android Device

by: Elmer MontejoSeptember 12, 2011

HTC is hosting a “celebration” in New York City this coming September 20, and no one has any clear idea what will be celebrated, although the invitations that HTC has been sending out to the press say “Come celebrate in style with HTC.”

Unlike Samsung’s press invitation for its U.S. launching of the Samsung Galaxy S II last August 30, HTC’s event doesn’t give a hint about anything. We are suspecting, as is usual with such events, that HTC will be unveiling a new device.

As to whether the device will be an Android, Windows Phone 7, or Qualcomm Brew–operating systems that run on HTC phones (with Android holding [...]

HTC Rhyme Shows Up on Verizon Price List, Could Be HTC Bliss Loaded with Beats Tech

by: Dave FerilSeptember 6, 2011

Verizon has an upcoming mid-range Android smartphone from HTC–and it’s possible that the phone may be carrying Beats by Dr. Dre technology.

A Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) list allegedly from Verizon Wireless found its way to Droid Life and showed the HTC Rhyme with a price tag of US$200.

Very little is currently known about the HTC Rhyme. The MAP list shows it with model number ADR6330, which seems close to the model number of the HTC Merge (ADR6325) and the HTC DROID Incredible 2 (ADR6350).

This device might share the appearance of either of the two aforementioned devices, although it is tough to tell for now.

Also, the HTC Rhyme’s price [...]

by: Chit AgustinMay 5, 2011

What would men be without women? It is a simple fact that women have been ignored when it comes to Android smartphones  – design-wise With this in mind, HTC and Verizon have teamed up to create what they hope is an appealing Android smartphone geared especially for women. It looks to have the potential and the design to appeal to women.

Verizon and HTC have taken this into consideration and are alleged to be testing a new smartphone that will target women between the ages of 20 and 30 years old. As of this moment, the smartphone is known under the name of “Bliss” and is supposed to come to Verizon before the year ends.

Check out the dummy images of what [...]
