Google added a new feature to its Gesture Search app, a double flip feature.  The Gesture Search app lets users search by writing specific gestures on-screen and with the newly updated app, users can flip their phones sideways and back-up to automatically engage the Gesture Search function. The new application is available on Google’s Gesture Search website.

Gesture Search now available for Android 1.6+ in any country with Android Market

Google has just announced that it is making its new Gesture Search system available for some older versions of the Android smartphone OS and in any country with Android Market support.  Any users with an Android 1.6 or newer equipped phone can now download and install the gesture search application from the Android Market. Gesture search allows you to search through your phone for items like contacts, apps, or bookmarks by drawing a letter on the screen.

Fresh out of Google Labs is the new Gesture Search application which adds a novel search method to any Android 2.0 or greater device.
