The drama continues. While Apple may have just won a permanent injunction over the Galaxy Tab 10.1, it seems things are not so clear cut, and actually Samsung can pretty easily route around that injunction. You see, Samsung is not allowed to use their German subsidiary to sell or re-stock the German retailers with the Galaxy Tab 10.1, but Samsung can easily circumvent that by using either their subsidiary in Netherlands to sell to them, or even the South Korean one.
And this seems to actually work, as it doesn’t seem to be a problem for retailers to re-stock their Galaxy Tab 10.1 inventory with new tablets from Samsung’s other subsidiaries. As long as they [...]
We’ve already talked about Samsung’s legal troubles before. But it seems the Korean company has managed to get a little break from its problems with Apple over the legal wrangling about the Galaxy Tab 10.1. A German court has lifted a few of the restrictions on sales of the tablet in the European Union.
As a brief refresher on the issue, here’s what happened so far: Apple filed a suit against Samsung because supposedly the Korean company’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 was just a cheap knock off the iPad 2. At the beginning of the case though, a German court let Apple have a preliminary injunction.
This was last week and it has been a very painful week [...]
The Unwired have received a press report from T-Mobile stating that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be available from April in Germany. This is the start of the X10 roll out, which was originally due for release in February.
This Xperia device runs Android 1.6 (aka Donut), but also has a customised user interface on-top similar to what HTC have achieved with their ‘Sense UI’. Unlike any HTC Android device, however, the X10 offers a whopping 4.0″ WVGA (480×854) scratch-resistant capacitive screen. Throw in a 1 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU and a 8.1 megapixel camera and you can begin to remember what all the fuss was about.
The version of the X10 which will be [...]

The Motorola Droid is estimated to have sold over 100,000 units during its opening weekend with Verizon, which according to Mark McKechnie with Broadpoint AmTech should hopefully see Motorola back to an operating profit sometime next year .
O2 Germany have recently announced the Milestone which will be available for €549,99 on a range of tariffs including unlimited calls to landline and other O2 Germany Network devices. Some of the differences between the Milestone and the Droid include the 8GB [...]

Well the news is just in, things have just got official from O2 Germany. Bild.de, a German language technology site, reported earlier that the Samsung i7500 will beat the S8000 to the finish line to be Samsung’s first mobile running Google’s Android operating system. This morning, O2 Germany clearly up the rumours by officially announcing the device. There is no word regarding which carriers will offer the i7500 in other countries or what the availability will be outside of Germany.
In an official press release announcement, O2 has confirmed that the i7500 will be available in June this year:
“Samsung is among the earliest [...]
