Gameloft releases gameplay trailer for upcoming hack-and-slash Wild Blood (video)

by: AdrianAugust 23, 2012
Wild Blood has been teased a couple of weeks ago with some artwork and is now again under the spotlight with the first gameplay trailer. Like many Gameloft recent “original” titles, this looks like a huge gamble, but can also be accused of ripping off one of the competition’s most popular games.

Gameloft to launch free-to-play Heroes of Order & Chaos in October

by: AdrianAugust 20, 2012
We’ve known for a while that an Order & Chaos follow-up will come soon, but very few details were revealed by Gameloft until just a couple of days ago. And while we wouldn’t want to hurry up and get you all excited for no reason, we might actually be dealing with a full-fledged winner this time.

First trailer for Gameloft’s Real Football 2013 is now out, but is it really a trailer?

by: AdrianAugust 17, 2012
As expected, Gameloft will follow up on Real Football 2012’s extreme success with a new installment in the franchise called unsurprisingly… Real Football 2013. The first trailer for the game expected to see the light of day sometime in January or February of next year is already out on YouTube, but unfortunately this actually makes us less excited.

Strategy meets simulation in new Kingdoms & Lords Android game from Gameloft

by: AdrianAugust 10, 2012
Gameloft has just released a title that at least partially seems to fit the bill, though it’s not a full-fledged RTS game, but rather one that combines strategy with simulation. Kingdoms & Lords is available for free over on Google Play starting today, and, based on its “storyline” and trailer, it seems like something worth a shot.

Gameloft releases first Unreal 3 game teaser trailer

by: Andrew GrushAugust 9, 2012

When it comes to mobile gaming, Gameloft is one of the few companies that truly attempts to push the limit and give us more than just casual games meant to entertain us for ten or fifteen minute stretches. In a new teaser video, Gameloft has revealed to us Wild Blood, the very first Unreal 3-based game from the company.

For those who don’t follow gaming engine news, Unreal 3 is the same engine in use for many of the most cutting-edge console games out there today, including Batman: Arkham City and Gears of War. As tablet and phone hardware has advanced in the last few years so have the ambitions and capabilities of the mobile gaming scene, as evident by both this [...]

Gameloft working on first mobile game based on Unreal engine

by: Chris SmithAugust 3, 2012

Gameloft is one of the important players in the mobile gaming world, having numerous apps available for iOS and Android devices. The latest game coming out of Gameloft’s studios is The Dark Knight Rises, the companion app of the third movie in Christopher Nolan’s modern Batman saga.

But the company will not stop there, as it looks like it’s working on a game based on the Unreal engine. The actual title of this new product is not yet public, and we have no idea when it will arrive, as Gameloft has not made any public announcements at this time.

Instead, the company teased its first mobile game based on the Unreal engine on its Facebook [...]

Asphalt 7: Heat now available on Google Play

by: Bogdan PetrovanJuly 26, 2012

After a long, long wait, Android gamers can finally rev up their virtual engines in the hottest release of the summer – Asphalt 7: Heat. The latest installment of the hit series developed by GameLoft has been teased for many weeks now and suffered several delays. The game was released on iOS more than a month ago, forcing Android fans to look with envy on the other side.

Asphalt 7: Heat has hit Google Play today and garnered close to 200 reviews already, most of which give it a glowing 5-star review. The app is compatible with Android 2.2 and upwards and goes for an affordable $0.99. My hope is GameLoft will have better success at monetizing the new Asphalt than [...]

Keen on taking on the role of the caped crusader on your Android device? To coincide with the theatrical release of one of this summer’s most hotly anticipated blockbusters, The Dark Knight Rises, the Android version of the companion game is now available to download from Google Play Store.

As the Dark Knight, you’ll get to roam in the nooks and crooks of the dark and gloomy Gotham City to fight crime and ultimately face your worst nightmare, Bane. Thankfully, Batman never comes unprepared without an arsenal, which range from the Grapnel to the Batarang and more. You’ll also get some help from allies like Lucius Fox, Commissioner Gordon, and perhaps even the catwoman [...]

Batman The Dark Knight Rises coming to Android on July 20

Fans probably know that the last episode of Christopher Nolan’s epic Batman series is going to hit cinemas in the following days. But it’s worth remembering that The Dark Knight Rises is also coming to Android and iOS devices as a companion game.

Apparently The Dark Knight Rises game will hit Google Play and the App Store simultaneously on July 20, a day after the movie is released.

We have a brand new trailer to show you for this [...]
