Expansys: Huawei S7 Android tablet available on July 7

Online retailer Expansys is now offering the Huawei S7 Android tablet with a July 7 availability date. The S7 pricing is set at US$354.99. The Android 2.1 powered tablet features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon CPU running at 768MHz and a large 7-inch WVGA touchscreen display.

Other features include a forward-facing 2 megapixel camera, 3G UMTS/HSPA/WiFi connectivity as well as Bluetooth 2.1 support, and a large 2200mAh battery.

Motorola Milestone sells out in a record 2.5 hours in the UK

Sales of the Motorola Milestone, the European version of the Verizon Wireless Motorola DROID, began on December 10th and the popular Android handset flew off the virtual shelves of online retailer eXpansys. The UK retailer confirmed that its entire inventory of the Motorola Milestone sold out within 2.5 hours, making the Milestone the fastest selling product ever in the retailer’s eleven year history. eXpansys also received one thousand pre-orders for the Milestone and has increased its order to Motorola twice. Acer A1 Liquid goes on sale in the UK

Back in March we attended a very special event by Acer which introduced their intentions of entering the mobile phone market. Even at this event they were not adverse to Android and since then we’ve seen why. The Acer Lquid A1 has recently gone on sale through online retailers Expansys and Clove, selling at £339.99 ($556) and £328.99 ($538) respectively. The A1 is the first Android smartphone to be powered by the credible 1 GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processor, although Acer have opted to under-clock this device, most likely in order to conserve battery power. After all, the battery is only 1,350mAh.

Motorola Milestone to launch December 7th, exclusive to Expansys

The folks over at Electric Pig got the scoop today that the Motorola Milestone, known stateside as the DROID for Verizon, will launch on December 7th in the UK. The Android 2.0 handset will be exclusive to the online retailer Expansys for the remainder of 2009. With a carrier subsidized version not expected until 2010, Britons in the market for the Milestone will have to shell out a rather hefty £449.99 ($742 USD) for arguably one of the top Android handsets on the market. If you just have to have it first, Expansys is currently taking pre-orders for the Milestone with shipment expected in 8 business days.

Expansys outs details of Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X3 (Rachel)

Somebody is probably going to catch a lot of heat for this, but online retailer Expansys has put up a pre-order page for the Sony Ericsson Xperia X3, a device formerly known by its code name of Rachel.

No price or estimated ship date has been given for the X3 as of yet.

Forget Amazon UK, eXpansys have wacked up an offering of the HTC Hero, SIM free and unlocked, for a bargain price of £400. In their own words, “eXpansys have a stunning exclusive offer available to UK”. We wouldn’t disagree.

Not only is this offer nearly £30 cheaper than the Amazon deal, but they are also throwing in a few vounchers as well. According to the website, “order your HTC Hero between June 29 and 31 July 2009 and we will send you £30 of eXpansys vouchers* to spend on accessories at!”.
