DoCoMo (Japan’s leading mobile phone service provider) will be asking Google Inc. for help in modifying its Android OS. Nikkei.com has earlier reported the reason behind this request is so DoCoMo smartphones running on Android OS will generate less data traffic. This request came after DoCoMo identified a free-of-charge voice communication Android app that intervened with the service of the provider last Wednesday.
