Early 2010 may be an exciting time for Android fans on T-Mobile. According to TmoNews, the MyTouch 3G is getting a small refresh with the addition of a 3.5mm headphone jack and will be launched on February 10th in black and white. The MyTouch Slide, an HTC Magic with a QWERTY keyboard, will be hitting the shelves on May 17th in black, red and white. Last but not least is an unknown Motorola handset dubbed the Zeppelin, powered by Android, and expected to launch March 10th.

This is somewhat disappointing. If they’re going to upgrade/update the MyTouch line, they should increase the internal memory and processor speed. They should also consider a slightly larger screen. The reports of the slide having a “sidekick-like” keyboard are a kinda scary too. Oh, and these should have the latest version of Android… 2.1 at a minimum out of the box. From the early reports, it looks like putting lipstick on a pig so to speak… as far as the MyTouch is concerned. How about they give us a real phone, aka the motorola milestone? Now that would be news.

Nick the Motorola Milestone(Droid) would be awesome. Unfortunately the Milestone doesn’t function on the same 3g frequency bands that T-Mobile U.S. uses(or else I would have e-bay’d one myself).
