T-Mobile LG G2 and Optimus F6 pricing and availability announced
LG Electronics officially announced that the LG G2 would be available in the US at some point this month a few days ago, and, as expected, official availability and pricing announcements from mobile carriers have now begun to come in. The sign-up page for the T-Mobile LG G2 has been up for a while now, and today, we finally received confirmation on the release date and pricing of the highly-anticipated device.
The LG G2 from T-Mobile will be available from September 18, online, as well as from T-Mobile retail stores around the country. While both the white and black version will be released, the white version will only be available online. Under T-Mobile’s new Simple Choice Plans, “well-qualified” customers will be able to pick up the phone with a down payment of $99, followed by monthly installments of $21, for 24 months. The LG G2 is already up for pre-order, and will be available online from September 18, with the device being available from retail stores from September 25. As a reminder of the LG G2 specs, the device features a 5.2-inch Full HD (1080p) IPS LCD display, 2.26 Ghz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16/32GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera with OIS, 2.4MP front camera, 3,000 mAh battery, and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on-board.
For those of you in the market for a more affordable, mid-range option, T-Mobile has also announced the availability of the LG Optimus F6. The Optimus F6 can be picked up online from today, September 5, and from retail stores from September 11, for a $49.99 down payment, with an additional $10 per month for 24 months, making it “one of T-Mobile’s most affordable smartphones.”
The LG Optimus F6 features a 4.5-inch qHD IPS LCD display, 1.2 Ghz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus processor, Adreno 305 GPU, 5MP rear camera, 1MP front camera, 2,460 mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on-board.
