Today T-Mobile USA revealed that its first HSPA+ powered 3.5G smartphone will be called the G2. It launched a teaser page saying as much. No real details are there, not even a photo, but the company said that more info will be coming in the next few weeks or so.
As luck would have it, that coincides with an HTC event in London on September 15th, that we expect to be the launch of the HTC Desire HD, which would make a fine G2 for T-Mo.
