T-Mobile G1 supports HSUPA, not just HSDPA

T-Mobile G1 supports HSUPA, not just HSDPA

Even though T-Mobile USA reported that the G1 supports only HSDPA 3G data, it appears that it was selling the phone short a bit. According to an HTC rep we spoke with today, the G1 for the U.S. and the UK are the same, and, as mentioned in the T-Mobile UK press release, the G1 supports HSUPA data.

That means that if T-Mobile USA upgrades its network to HSUPA in the future, the G1 will be ready for it.
