T-Mobile G1 now shipping with a 3.5mm headphone adapter

Users of T-Mobile G1 previously had two options when it came to stereo music: either abandon their headphones for new ones to plug into the G1′s miniUSB socket,  or to purchase an adapter in order to use their headphones.

That has changed now, though.  HTC has gotten smart and decided to include the adapter with all future purchases of the G1. While that is a kind gesture, many of us are wondering why the G1 simply didn’t have a 3.5 mm headphone jack in the G1 to begin with.
